Lead with Purpose. Serve with Honor.
Dr. Jasdip Singh Jesse’s journey is built on faith, service, and fearless advocacy. From Capitol Hill to community town halls, he has spent decades ensuring that Sikh Americans and other South Asian voices are not only heard, but respected and represented.
Grounded in the Sikh values of seva (selfless service) and sarbat da bhala (welfare of all), his work reflects a deep commitment to unity through diversity. Whether it’s fighting for fair policies or confronting extremism, Dr. Jesse leads with the clarity of principle — not the chase for popularity.
He is a bridge-builder across ideologies and faiths, advocating for collaboration in a time of polarization. His friendship with leaders like Dr. Sajid Tarar is a powerful example of how shared values can transcend religious lines and inspire national dialogue. Together, they’ve shown that Muslim-Sikh unity isn’t just symbolic — it’s transformational.
Honorary Doctorate by Washington Adventist University
In May 2024, Dr. Jesse was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by Washington Adventist University, recognizing his lifelong contributions to civic service and minority empowerment. The honorary degree was jointly awarded to him and Dr. Sajid Tarar — marking a historic moment of Muslim-Sikh unity in the American landscape.
Positive global representation of Sikh Americans
Dr. Jesse’s public stance has always been rooted in principles — not popularity. He is a vocal critic of extremism in all forms, including the misuse of Sikh identity by separatist movements such as Khalistan. “We don’t need division to preserve identity. We need leadership that unites while protecting what makes us unique.”
